The Radiation Oncology Online Tool

This tool provides information about who is accessing radiation therapy and how treatment protocols differ by DHB (now Te Whatu Ora district) and treatment centre. The online tool makes non-identifiable and aggregated information transparent and available to cancer centres, DHBs and Regional Hubs to enable them to compare against one another and against national guidelines.

Cancer Care Data Explorer

This interactive tool explores the quality of care and outcomes for people diagnosed with cancer in New Zealand. It presents the latest indicator results for bowel, lung and prostate cancer by geographic areas and by age, sex, ethnic group and neighbourhood deprivation. More cancers types will be added as they become available.

Cancer Web Tool

A new interactive web tool which presents data on cancer registrations, diagnoses and deaths for the period between 2011 - 2020 in Aotearoa New Zealand. It replaces cancer registrations and historical cancer data previously published as stand alone Excel files. This new web tool includes data about primary cancer diagnoses and deaths registered where cancer was the underlying cause of death. Information presented includes demographic information (for example ethnicity and sex), and cause of death by cancer type. This publication is a Tier 1 Statistic.
