We are looking for a Project Coordinator or Coordinator to support our teams and work on key Agency projects to improve cancer outcomes and care for all people in New Zealand. 
 
Project Coordinator in the Central Hub

Are you an organised, proactive professional who enjoys bringing people, projects and ideas together? This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role supporting initiatives that make a real difference across New Zealand's health sector. 

As a Project Coordinator you will provide high-quality project coordination and administrative support to the Central Regional Hub team, as well as a range of Agency projects and work programmes. Your role will include: 

  • Coordinating projects and delivery activities by supporting planning, reporting, risk management, budgeting and project governance processes.  
  • Keeping operations running smoothly through high-quality administrative support, information management, budget monitoring, travel coordination and secretariat services.  
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across the Agency, Ministry, health sector, government and external partners to support successful project outcomes.  
  • Driving continuous improvement by enhancing project management practices, improving systems and processes, and contributing to a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Coordinator with the Data and Analytics team

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in supporting projects, coordinating business operations, and helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes. Working closely with managers, stakeholders and project teams, you'll be at the centre of planning, problem-solving and collaboration, ensuring work runs smoothly and priorities stay on track.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate projects and programmes by supporting planning, implementation, reporting, risk management, budgeting and delivery activities.

  • Provide essential business support through administration, procurement coordination, travel management, information requests and day-to-day team support.

  • Facilitate effective engagement by organising meetings and events, coordinating stakeholders, preparing documentation and following up on actions.

  • Drive collaboration and continuous improvement by building strong relationships, supporting recruitment activities, contributing to process improvements and helping teams achieve their objectives.
