
Cancer Psychological and Social Support Service National Group
These experts provide clinical advice and guidance on the psychological and social needs of patients diagnosed, treated and survivors of cancer along with their whānau.The Cancer Psychological and Social Support Service (CPSSS) National Group of Regional Leads (RLs) provide clinical advice and guidance on the psychological and social needs of patients diagnosed, treated and survivors of cancer along with their whānau. In addition, they support health professionals providing care for those affected by cancer.
Their advice is informed by a national data collection which is the basis of the CPSSS Dashboard. This dashboard is available to clinical staff for service development and improvement, intervention guidelines and service standards.
Members
Cancer Psychological and Social Support Service Regional Leads are recognised experts appointed by their organisation and comprises the following members:
- Lauren Bradley – Advanced Clinician – Social Work Te Toka Tumai, Counties Manukau, Waitematā and Te Tai Tokerau
- Marie Townsend- Consultant Clinical Psychologist Te Manawa Taki Region, Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty including Whakatane and Tauranga, and Tairawhiti
- Shannon Nanna - Senior Clinical Psychologist Midcentral, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki and Whanganui
- Justin Gulliver - Consultant Social Worker Capital, Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa
- Daren Eyles – Advanced Clinician-Social Worker Canterbury, Timaru, West Coast, and Nelson Marlborough
- Sara Joice - Consultant Health Psychologist Southern
